Juken New Zealand Ltd (JNL) is an international forest and wood products company operating in local and global timber markets. JNL owns three wood processing plants in the North Island, and forests in the Wairarapa and East Coast regions. We work closely with our parent company in Japan – WoodOne.
The two mills situated in Kaitaia are currently working a 5½ day / 24 hr operation processing Radiata Pine into reconstituted wood panels and peeled, dried veneer.
About the role: We have a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced Shift Electrician to work in our Triboard Mill in Kaitaia. This is a full-time permanent role working a minimum of 40 hours per week on a 4on 4off 12-hour shift.
Remuneration: $45.851 - $48.045 per hour
Key responsibilities will include: Calibrations of electrical systems and equipment Carrying out preventative maintenance work on electrical equipment Provide "front line" support to Production and Mechanical departments Attend breakdowns Overhaul various electrical equipment, including motors and motor controls.
