The Role: As an Electrician with Wattie's you will have the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated maintenance response team, supporting an industrial food factory at our iconic Hastings site. You will have the opportunity to work on heavy electrical maintenance issues and break downs as well as fault finding for PLC and IMC controlled devices.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working a rotating shift pattern - days/ nights. Your Responsibilities: Complete the scheduled PM program and fault find whilst carrying out checks to carry out break downs effectively.Work collaboratively with the maintenance response team and other key stakeholders across the business.Look for efficiencies and ways to continuously improve our ways of operating.Manage the site's electrical control system, including maintenance, back up and reporting from software control systems (PLCs, iFix, micro scan, profibus and devicnet).Identify and implement enhancements to electrical systems and control systems.Lead and work collaboratively with the response team, ensuring staff are trained in all systems.Maintain and repair site electrical systems and machinery.Provide expert electrical advice to project teams and the broader site.Your Skills: Your technical knowledge and experience coupled with your strong service focus will ensure your success in this role. You will have:
