Shift Electrician

As a Shift Electrician, you will play a crucial role in providing electrical support across various areas, including preventative maintenance, installations, improvements, breakdowns, and automation. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving efficiency and innovation within their facility. Your ability to program Allan Bradley PLCs will be highly advantageous as they strive for continuous improvement through automation.Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of electrical systems.Install and upgrade electrical equipment and systems to enhance efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize downtime.Identify areas for improvement and implement safety and productivity enhancement solutions.Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to achieve operational goals.Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and update relevant records.Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.LocationAuckland City, AucklandRequirements:A valid forklift license and trade certificate are mandatory.Proficiency in programming Allan Bradley PLCs is highly desirable.Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or similar industry.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues.Willingness to work on a rostered call-out standby basis.
