About The Role Reporting to the SHEQ Business Manager, this role will be responsible for delivering on the SHEQ requirements of the program utilising systems and processes to foster an integrated approach to SHEQ management in delivering on legal, contractual and business requirements. Your Duties Will Include, But Are Not Limited To Manage and assist with implementation of SHEQ management plans across the project. Provide SHEQ guidance and support to the Operations team to ensure enhanced sustainability and a safe workplace with zero impact on the environment. Manage the safety management system database and reporting. Implement processes to ensure communication and compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures including fostering a culture of 'safety and health above all else'. Undertake investigations in relation to SHEQ related incidents or issues and provide recommendations through the contract leadership team. Engaging with Ventia SHEQ where appropriate. Ensuring risk assessments, SWMS and risk registers are maintained and all records are managed in accordance with Ventia SHEQ requirements. Ensuring that the Ventia "Critical Risk Protocols" are embedded in the project. Monitor and manage operational activities regarding SHEQ requirements and functions. Utilise data to enable informed decisions to be made in relation to asset disposal, renewal and planned maintenance programs. Develop and assist delivery of safety related training when required including new starter induction, toolbox talks and prestart meetings. Maintain audit schedule, complete SHEQ based audits and support the Operations team with delivery of other related audits. Ensure an awareness of client clinical compliance requirements serviced and monitored through other contract resources. As a member of the central Alliance contract Senior Leadership Team and a key leader in promoting a positive and generative approach to the health and safety, environment and quality functions across the project. About You Relevant SHEQ qualification. Construction, Healthcare, or FM experience is an advantage. Experience with injury management is also ideal. Internal auditor qualifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). ICAM investigation methodology or equivalent. Knowledge of all current and pending Health, Safety and Environment legislation. Industry experience in a similar WHS, environmental and/or quality role, preferably in Facilities Management, services or construction.
