Job Description
We are currently looking for a Nightshift Mussel Packing Trainer at our Blenheim plant.
You will be responsible for the Onboarding and training of new and existing employees to their full potential and ensuring they are competent at all required tasks for their role.
Your payrate will be $27.37 per hour.
You will be working from 3pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday and weekends as required.
As a Mussel Packing Trainer, you will be responsible for:
Active involvement in the induction and on-boarding of new employees.Overseeing the training and development of new and existing employees.Ensuring Staff are being assessed as competently trained in all required tasks to a demonstrable capacity.Provide feedback, support and guide employees to achieve professional goals and expectations.Prioritising Health and Safety and Compliance in all work undertaken and promoting these values to new and existing employees.
Qualifications
For this role, you'll need: No specific qualifications are required, though Adult Education experience such as Workplace Trainer, Workplace Assessor would be beneficial. Opportunities to gain qualifications related to this position available. Knowledge and understanding of Shellfish Processing operations would be advantageous.
