Job Description Talley's Blenheim have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join our team at our Havelock site to ensure the efficient operations of the Havelock Mussel Grading factory to satisfy the daily production schedule. The role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, organising people and processes to achieve high standards. This person is key to meeting our safety standards and meeting production targets, driving continuous improvement across Safety, Quality, People and Productivity. With the right experience and qualifications, your rate will be $29.66 per hour. This is a full-time role, Sunday - Friday, with a guarantee of 30 hours per week. Qualifications Who are you? You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working hard and are honest, reliable and willing to learn. You will also be proactive, as the key task is to supervise the workforce and drive productivity. You will need: Proven Management/leadership experience. Proven experience in relevant food processing operations. Forklift license. Seafood level 4 processing (or similar). Advanced knowledge in the following would be beneficial: In-depth knowledge of Shellfish processing operations. Excellent communication skills. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintenance practices. Solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices. Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, MS Teams.
