Sheet Metal Workshop Supervisor

Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Workshop Supervisor with a passion for leading teams and delivering high-quality results? We are looking for a driven and hands-on individual to join our growing company and oversee the day-to-day operations of our sheet metal workshop.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and develop a skilled team of metal fabricators, ensuring they meet production goals and grow within the company.Quality Control: Ensure all projects meet high-quality standards through diligent inspection and adherence to safety and compliance protocols.On-Time Delivery: Coordinate and monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects, meeting client delivery expectations.Budget Management: Track and manage workshop expenses, labor, and materials to ensure projects stay within budget.Continuous Improvement: Implement and promote best practices for efficiency and workflow improvements in the workshop.Key Requirements:Proven experience in a supervisory role within a sheet metal or similar metal fabrication environment.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and train staff.Excellent knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and quality control procedures.Experience in managing production timelines and budgets.A proactive, problem-solving attitude and commitment to safety.If you're passionate about delivering exceptional results and developing high-performing teams, we want to hear from you!Send us your CV and a cover letter telling us why you would be an outstanding member of our team.Applicants for this position require NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
