A well-established company MERRIC APPAREL (NZ) LIMITED is now enlarging its team to cope with the fast development. We are looking for sewing machinists, welcome to apply for the position.
??Job Description
·       Set up, threaded and fitted all attachments to sewing machine, efficiently.
·       Positions items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides
·       Selecting suitable thread and placing this onto the spool spin.
·       Detecting and repairing basic faults with the sewing machine as they occur.
·       changing needles and adjusting, securing and modifying attachments to machines
·       Trim excess threads and edges of parts
·       Cleaned, lubricated, and maintained the sewing machine properly.
·       Adjusted and monitored machine controls for different sewing jobs, such as starting, stopping and controlling speed of machines.
·       Label and examine finished curtains and ensured its conformance to pattern instructions.
·       operating thread trimming and other machines if needed
·       Any other reasonable request.

Location: Auckland
Job type: Full-time Permanent
Pay rate: 30 New Zealand dollars per hour
Days required: Monday to Friday
Hours per week: 30-35, depending on your skills and work experience

Job Requirement

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience or a relevant NZ level4 qualification or an equivalent overseas qualification is required.
