Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) We are looking for an experienced and motivated people leader to drive our Auckland SESTA Operation. You will lead a team of 150 Drivers, which includes both permanent and casual employees who cover routes throughout Auckland. You will also have an Operations Coordinator reporting into you, and work alongside our close-knit CCR operations team who keep the wheels moving!
SESTA is a highly rewarding community service that we provide for the Ministry of Education, ensuring the safe transport of around 750 students daily from their front door to school and home again.
Based at our central Ellerslie office, as the SESTA Operations Manager you will work collaboratively with our drivers, schools, parents, and the ministry to deliver this service for our local communities.
The role: Being the management hub of our Auckland SESTA operationManaging and supporting your team of SESTA driversPlanning, rostering, and implementing runs to ensure optimum use of resourcesAdministrative support and payroll duties (timesheets)Driver recruitment, including casuals for covering routesRegular performance monitoring of drivers & vehiclesEnsuring overall compliance and adherence to legal requirements and contractual agreementsWhat are we looking for? Proven experience in a leadership roleThe ability to communicate and build relationships at all levelsA drive for delivering a high level of customer service and safe specialised transportTech savvy, and a willingness to adapt to new systemsFull NZ Driver's License (Passenger Endorsement required but we can assist in obtaining this)What can we offer?
