We are seeking our next Services Team Leader to lead the services team at our Takapau plant located in central Hawkes Bay.

The role:
The Services Team Lead is responsible for leading Takapau's services function which encompasses the maintenance of site grounds, water treatment, DAF, buildings, plumbing, and site amenities.
This portfolio of works involves leading a team of 8 active members and is part of the wider engineering business unit.
Hours of Work: 6.00am to 3.00pm, Mondays to Fridays with occasional overtime and weekend work as required.
Responsibilities:
Lead team of 8 to ensure all areas of site services are compliant and maintained to a high standard.
Coordinating contractors as required from scoping of works through to completion and PO generation for payment of said services.
Reporting on progress to Services Group Leader and Engineering Manager.
Provide engineering support to ensure HSE, hygiene, regulatory and compliance requirements.
Train and coach services team to achieve required results for assigned works.
Work within budgetary framework and manage areas of responsibility including raising purchase order requests and reviewing expenditure.
Assist with various projects and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:
Previous leadership experience within an engineering environment.
Broad-based experience and knowledge of mechanical and engineering practices relative to wastewater, water treatment, sumps, and pumps, building and plumbing maintenance.
Relevant trade qualification and proven industrial experience.
Ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions on a timely basis.
Added advantage would be previous experience in Boilers and industrial/commercial refrigeration systems.
