At Schneider Electric, we believe access to energy and digital is a basic human right. We provide energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability. Our Secure Power team provides 24/7 servicing for hospitals, utilities, data centres, and just about everything in-between. Our Schneider Electric portfolio covers UPS, critical cooling equipment, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, substation monitoring, as well as a wide range of ancillary equipment. We enable owners, end users, and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency, and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations. What's on offer? Based in Auckland, NZ and reporting to the National Operations Manager, we have a great opportunity for a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) Technician, or a career-motivated electrical qualified tradesman looking to join our team. You will be required to work on-call with some out-of-hours work, and frequent local and occasional international travel will be necessary. The market we work in is changing rapidly, and this role will include training and specialisation on some of our exciting new digital/monitoring products. Specific Responsibilities: Attend service callouts, which will include preventative and corrective maintenance/repairs to UPS units. Inspect project installations prior to commissioning and commissioning of installed assets. Provide exceptional customer service, building and strengthening customer relationships. Provide technical information and assistance on the range of Schneider Electric's portfolio. Record accurate information relating to site visits, unit replacement, defective parts, and repairs. Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures at all times. What YOU will need: Electrical Trade Qualification and Licence (must be recognised in New Zealand). A Customer-First mindset. Proven experience in a similar position and working for an OEM is ideal; however, those Industrial Electricians with a real thirst and aptitude for learning are welcome to apply. Experience/Knowledge of Schneider Electric products is beneficial but not essential. There will be some overnight and regional travel as part of this position; but this also comes with the benefit of empowerment and working flexibility. At Schneider Electric, your career will be meaningful, inclusive, and you will be empowered. We expect our employees to put customers first, embrace diversity, and act like owners. Our leaders are tasked with shaping our future, building the best teams, and using their judgement to deliver results. Sounds like you? Apply today! All applicants must have working rights in NZ at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for interview. #LI-SK3 #J-18808-Ljbffr
