Service Technician / Machinist

Machinist Role Overview A machinist based role that is a mixture of machining work and general service work. Based in the Christchurch workshop and reporting to the Service Manager.
Skills and Qualifications Required Proven, significant experience with the manual lathe and milling. The relevant trade qualification. Welding experience is an advantage. Experience with hydraulics is a big advantage. Personality Traits Needed A strong mechanical mindset. The ability to work well both independently and with others. Attention to detail and accuracy in your work. Ability to complete work in a timely manner. Tasks and Responsibilities Responsibility for a job from start to finish. Cylinder repairs and manufacture. Manufacture of one-off components. General service and repair work. Power pack manufacture. What You Can Expect Opportunity to be supported in your learning and development.
