Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic located in Hastings.
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment and vehicle maintenance on a day-to-day basis.
The successful candidate will have tractor diagnostic and repair experience.
Candidate Equipment Maintenance, Equipment Repair, and Vehicle Maintenance skills Experience in troubleshooting heavy equipment Strong technical skills in heavy equipment mechanics Ability to work independently and in a team environment Certification or training in heavy equipment maintenance Excellent problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills Candidate will have NZ working rights, no sponsorship.
The person must be able to work at least 45 hours per week and be able to start work in 2 weeks.
They must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and must be able to send a CV.
The role will have a very good hourly rate with a company vehicle.
This is a permanent, full-time role.
