Service Technician - Farm and Construction EquipmentAn exciting opportunity has emerged for a Service Technician position in the greater Newcastle region. This role entails providing top-notch servicing and repairs to tractors, machinery, and hay making equipment, both in the workshop and in-field. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high service standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.Join our client as a Service Technician, tasked with delivering servicing and repairs to tractors, machinery, and hay making equipment. This role encompasses effective diagnostic procedures, pre-delivery inspections, servicing, major repairs, and light fabrication/welding duties. Additionally, the incumbent will support the Service Coordinator and uphold safety standards.Responsibilities will include:Conducting test operations and utilizing efficient diagnostic procedures.Performing pre-delivery inspections and timely servicing and major repairs.Executing light fabrication/welding duties on various components.Upholding high service standards aligned with industry policies.Providing assistance to the Service Coordinator and ensuring a secure working environment.This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities:Possession of an agricultural or plant mechanical repair trade certificate.A minimum of five years of mechanical or similar work experience.Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.Basic computer literacy and possession of a valid NSW driver's license.About the company:Our client is a prominent tractor and machinery specialist based in the greater Newcastle area, NSW.
