Company DescriptionBased in beautiful Thames, CAPS (Child Abuse Prevention Services) Hauraki is a multidisciplinary team who work together to offer a range of social work, education, counselling and advocacy services in the Thames/Coromandel and Hauraki regions. Our team are passionate about creating change and supporting families to live free from fear and abuse.Job DescriptionThis is an opportunity to make a real difference and become a key player in the organisation. You will provide essential back-office and administrative support to the General Manager, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of CAPS Hauraki. Your role will be pivotal in streamlining processes and driving a strong customer service culture, delivering positive experiences for both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead and coach a team of three Administrators, ensuring that support services run efficiently and align with the Mission and Vision of CAPS Hauraki.Key responsibilities include:Coach and support a team of talented administrators to drive organisational efficiency and responsivenessCo-ordinate reporting, policy and plan review, audit preparation and other quality initiativesOversee the HR system, recruitment processes, and IT supportManage key events and projectsContribute to Health & Safety practices to ensure smooth operations and a positive organisational impactUtilise your skills to contribute as a key member of the CAPS Leadership TeamQualificationsTo be successful in this position, you will have:Proven experience in administrative leadership, operations management, or a similar roleStrong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with IT systems, HR processes, and event coordinationAbility to work independently, lead projects, and coach team membersKnowledge of Health & Safety protocols and industry best practicesAdditional InformationIn return you will have the opportunity to lead a passionate and dedicated team, with professional development opportunities and the chance to work in a supportive, community-focused organisation.If this sounds like the opportunity you have been waiting for, we look forward to hearing from you!
