Service Station Fast Food Cook

Caltex New Zealand – Queenstown, South Island We are looking for a friendly fast food cook to join our awesome Service Station team. This is a full-time permanent role located in beautiful Queenstown. We are looking for someone with the relevant experience required to competently carry out the following key tasks and responsibilities: Preparing a wide variety of deep fried food such as Fish, Chips, Chicken tenders, Hot Dogs and baked food such as Pies and Sausage Rolls. Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves and deep fryers. Cleaning food preparation and display areas, cooking surfaces and utensils. Ordering and taking delivery of fast food ingredients. Restocking our food and beverage fridge and freezers. Managing our Food Safety Program. Customer Service. Accurate Cash Handling and POS use. You must be super reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated and genuinely enjoy preparing great food for our customers. This position is permanent for a minimum of 30 hours per week. You must be happy to work rostered afternoon/evening shifts including weekends. Applicants must be fluent in English with good communication skills.
