About the Role Are you passionate about delivering exceptional technical service and solutions? Join us as a Service and Repair Technician to ensure product issues experienced by our customers are resolved promptly and effectively. You'll be collaborating closely with our customer service teams, at the forefront repairing and servicing customer products to ensure they're up and running smoothly. You'll also be the hero on the phone and via email, providing top-notch support to our NZ Animal Management customers. As Part of #TeamGallagher you will Ensure prompt and high-quality completion of service and repair jobs (this includes some off-site service and repair work)Accurately document all job activities, including writing repair reports, recording communications, and entering fault codesAdhere to department and company policies, including EWRB and safety requirementsReport any product issues requiring further investigation or corrective actions to appropriate channelsProvide professional technical support to NZ Animal Management customers, resolving product support requests promptlySupport and promote Gallagher solutions, logging all customer service activities and achieving defined customer experience KPIsContribute to continuous improvement by developing internal systems, knowledge, and practicesContinuously learn and grow by obtaining required qualifications, seeking on-the-job learning opportunities, and participating in training and mentoring programsFoster a positive work environment, being a good listener, and maintaining an open mind as a valuable team member.Key Experience and Attributes for Success A relevant electronics/IT qualification and/or strong technical aptitudeProven customer support/problem-solving experienceExpertise in diagnosing/repairing electronic equipment to a component levelAbility to problem solve to root cause by thinking logically, calmly, and promptly.Have current EWRB registration (as an Electrical Appliance Service Person) or are willing and able to train towards obtaining registration.Software systems knowledge (cloud, PC, web, embedded)Logical problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication and people skillsCustomer empathy and commercial awarenessFlexibility and adaptability.Ability to travel and conduct field service work where required.Why Gallagher?
