About you:
You'll focus on our customers; be self-motivated, organised and able to inspire and mentor our team of Service Technicians.
You will need:
A recognised qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanics
Proven diagnostic experience with strong electronics and hydraulics knowledge
A background in agricultural tractors and machinery
Good communication skills to liaise with people at all levels
To understand and manage customer expectations
Strong head for numbers and be able to deliver accurate administration
A good level of physical fitness as there is some heavy lifting involved
Commercially focused to drive profit and the success of the service department
Previous experience in leading a technical team
About the role:
This is a permanent full-time role based at our Power Farming Gisborne branch.
You will partner with the Dealer Principal to:
Oversee daily workshop operations and workflow management
Provide dedicated mentorship to our service team, with special attention to apprentice development
Develop, communicate and monitor process and workflow within the service department
Ensure all work orders and jobs are completed on time
