Our client, a trusted name in the automotive industry, has expanded to 14 dealerships across New Zealand and recently secured an exclusive distribution contract with a leading international truck brand.

About the Role
As Service Manager, you will build and oversee the daily operations of a dynamic service department in this new branch.
You'll lead a team of skilled technicians, ensure efficient workflows, and maintain the highest standards of customer service.
Your role will be pivotal in driving service performance, optimizing resources, and fostering continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all service department activities.Supervise, mentor, and train technicians and support staff to achieve excellence.Ensure timely, accurate completion of service work and uphold quality standards.Address customer concerns, provide updates, and maintain high customer satisfaction.Monitor and achieve performance metrics for the service department.Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operations.Oversee parts inventory management and ordering processes.Manage warranty claims and service contracts efficiently.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.About You Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role in the automotive or trucking industry.In-depth knowledge of truck maintenance and repair.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Strong customer service and communication abilities.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with service management software and tools.ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.About the Company
