Service Manager Mhsop/Consult Liaison Services

The primary purposes of this role is the delivery of effective, timely and collaborative services to our community's older adults with secondary mental health and addiction needs across Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty and consultation liaison psychiatry services to Tauranga Hospital.This position, in partnership with clinical leadership, ensures that the quality of care delivered is high and that the team is supported in their ongoing development of services to meet the needs of those who we care for. This role also supports the development of staff and team leaders to ensure ongoing service excellence and a continuous quality improvement culture.There is a local, regional and national focus on system-wide transformation of mental health and addiction services and the Service Manager will ensure that we work in collaboration and partnership with the relevant PHO, NGO, iwi, whanau, lived experience and other stakeholders to develop integrated service delivery options. There are also significant changes in the Health System in general with the implementation of the Health Reforms.We're looking for people who want to utilise their leadership abilities, passion, dedication, experience and skills to deliver the services of the future.This is a full-time secondment available until August 2025.We are seeking a passionate individual with the following attributes:Do you:Have previous leadership and operational management experience?Have the ability to lead in a collaborative space where influence is key?Have dedication to working in partnership to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi?Have the ability to think outside the square, be creative and come up with solutions?Have the ability to inspire a team and to get their buy-in to be a centre of excellence?Have postgraduate experience in Mental Health?
