While we work in different groups and on different things, we all strive every day to make the biggest difference we can for our akonga in our education system.Permanent, full-timeTaranaki, Whanganui, Manawatu based in New PlymouthWe are looking for an experienced manager who will lead service delivery through a team of committed professionals, delivering a range of learning support services to children and young people from 0-21 years. They will work with early childhood providers and schools to improve educational outcomes.This role needs to lead change through leadership and management that influences and motivates others through personal advocacy, vision and aspiration in a collaborative environment.Salary range: $115,624 - $139,091 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.Flexible working arrangements where everyone feels valued & supported.The ability to purchase extra days leave.A range of employee network groups.An inclusive environment that encourages your personal cultural competency journey.Development and learning, including mentorship programmes and internal secondments.Wellness initiatives to support your overall health and wellbeing.About you | Mohou akeTo be successful in this role you will have the following capabilities and competencies:Experience in leading complex teams delivering services.Develop strong connections and networks across the Ministry, local education providers, iwi, communities and whanau to achieve educational priorities for the region.Broker support from across the Ministry and other agencies to deliver integrated work programmes tailored to local needs.Experience at influencing and leading innovation, people, programmes, and change.Ability to follow through and finish complex or sensitive tasks and issues.Ability to use and interpret data including the ability to use information to influence decisions.Manages and monitors client access systems to ensure service responsiveness is maximised.Ability to identify positive educational outcomes for parents, principals and early learning services through effective relationship building.Te Mahau | Te Tai Whenua (Central) is a frontline group. Our frontline groups collectively provide leadership and integrated services to the sector and others. This includes services such as learning support and education advice and regulation functions for schools and early learning services.
