Hokai Rangi is Ara Poutama Aotearoa's organisational strategy, aiming to find new and alternative ways to achieve better outcomes for the people in our care and their whanau, resulting in reduced reoffending.
A key focus of Hokai Rangi is the humanising and healing of those in our management. Ara Poutama Aotearoa staff will focus on building relationships with these individuals and their whanau, based on manaaki, contributing positively to their wellbeing.

As a Service Manager, your role is pivotal to delivering upon this promise. This position allows you to achieve outcomes through others, embody the values of Ara Poutama Aotearoa, and demonstrate your leadership capabilities while striving for high performance in line with our organisational strategies. You will be a driver of success for Hokai Rangi, which is founded on a values-led approach. With the rehabilitation of people in our management as our main focus, a "One Team" approach is essential to ensure those under our management remain at the center of our efforts, with victims at the forefront of our concern. By providing professional leadership in all aspects of practice, legislation, and offender management, you will maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with statutory obligations in line with Department policy.

Be a strong and visible leader who engages and motivates staff
Foster best practices in case management
Build strong internal and external relationships and make sound decisions

Salary: The salary band for this role is $105,908 - $122,873.
