Service Manager - Dealership

About the Role As our clients new Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their busy workshop.
Leading a team of skilled technicians, you will ensure efficient workflow, and embrace their commitment to outstanding customer service.
Your goal will be to drive service performance, manage resources effectively, and continuously improve service processes.
Manage and coordinate all service department activities Supervise, mentor, and train service technicians and support staff Ensure timely and accurate completion of service work Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing timely updates Monitor and achieve service department performance metrics Develop and implement service department policies and procedures Manage parts inventory and ordering to support service operations Oversee warranty claims and service contracts Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations About you: Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role in heavy equipment or trucking industry Strong knowledge of truck maintenance and repair Excellent leadership and team management skills Outstanding customer service and communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with service management software and tools Heavy Diesel certification or equivalent With more than 30 years within the New Zealand market our client offers some of the most reliable and economical trucks, tippers and curtainsiders available.
