About the RoleAs our clients new Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their busy workshop. Leading a team of skilled technicians, you will ensure efficient workflow, and embrace their commitment to outstanding customer service. Your goal will be to drive service performance, manage resources effectively, and continuously improve service processes.Manage and coordinate all service department activitiesSupervise, mentor, and train service technicians and support staffEnsure timely and accurate completion of service workMaintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing timely updatesMonitor and achieve service department performance metricsDevelop and implement service department policies and proceduresManage parts inventory and ordering to support service operationsOversee warranty claims and service contractsEnsure compliance with all safety and environmental regulationsAbout You:Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role in heavy equipment or trucking industryStrong knowledge of truck maintenance and repairExcellent leadership and team management skillsOutstanding customer service and communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with service management software and toolsHeavy Diesel certification or equivalentWith more than 30 years within the New Zealand market our client offers some of the most reliable and economical trucks, tippers and curtainsiders available.They are a household name and leader in their field providing seamless sales and support for operators across a wide range of industries.If you can tick the boxes aboveandare committed to a high standard of work, covering all aspects of maintenance and repair from general service, to major rebuilds, across a variety of Trucks and Trailers, we want to hear from you!CLICK ON APPLYto submit your application, call 09 600 5153 or email ****** for further information.Due to volume of response only shortlisted applicants will be contacted, and this will be within 5 working days
