The Service Line Leader Infrastructure Valuations and Economics is responsible for ensuring the service line is a sustainable and successful team. You will be responsible for growing and leading our service offerings for infrastructure valuations and economic analysis, providing high-quality assessment and analytical solutions that meet our clients' needs, looking for opportunities to add value and integrated solutions.The Service Line Leader provides operational management and leadership of the service line to achieve exceptional outcomes for our clients and our stakeholders through maximising commercial, people and project outcomes. The position holder will contribute to the success of our business in meeting its business and strategic objectives and ensuring effective management of clients, employees, and projects.Ensuring that our experts and service lines are connected and work seamlessly and collaboratively with other parts of the business is a key factor of success. The position holder plays a key role in the leadership of the Transport Systems Integration sub-sector and will work closely with the Head of, Technical Directors, Technical Principals and other sub-sector Service Line Leaders in line with our "one team" approach.Lead and manage the service line in creating, maintaining and growing client relationships.Develop business to business growth and sales plans, including development and implementation of sub-sector and service line strategies, client strategies and market development strategies.Prepare and lead client presentations and/or proposals.Partner with the leadership team to drive business efficiencies and performance.Lead and build a high-performance learning organisation with a culture of exceptional collaboration, and role model values and desired behaviours.Promote effective teamwork, proactively encouraging working collaboratively across boundaries.Act as a Senior Project Manager/Project Director with a strong focus on service excellence for Infrastructure Valuations and Economics projects.Effectively plan projects and assist project managers to correctly scope their projects with appropriate inputs, outputs, implementation activities, verification and technical review.Provide operational management and leadership of the service line to achieve exceptional outcomes for our clients and our stakeholders through maximising commercial, people and project outcomes.Ensure that service lines are connected and work seamlessly with other service lines, sub-sectors, and other operational parts of the business.Manage the service line, creating a sustainable and balanced team structure.Lead staff in Infrastructure Valuations and Economics to maximise their career satisfaction, augment their skills and ensure successful project outcomes, providing appropriate guidance and empowerment to our people to be the best.Manage the pipeline to create a sustainable long term business model.Contribute to the success of our business in meeting its business and strategic objectives by providing appropriate technical advice and ensuring effective management of clients, staff and projects.Participate in business development, business and strategic planning for the Transport team.About you:Relevant tertiary qualification related to Infrastructure Valuations and/or Economics or related required.Preferably minimum of 10 years' professional experience in a related discipline.Preferably minimum of 5 years' experience in an infrastructure related management position.Experience in developing new business by identifying and capitalising on opportunities to increase revenue, profit and expand market penetration.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.Expertise relevant to the service line – recognised name within NZ as leader in delivering Infrastructure Valuations and/or Economics or similar services.WSP NZ has proudly earned its place among the top five employers to work for in Aotearoa New Zealand, as recognised in Randstad's latest employer survey.
