Service Desk Support Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Support Analyst to join our national Service Desk team, based in our fantastic Wellington office.You'll be part of a team that is striving to achieve the best possible outcome for all our people and develop skills and knowledge that form the foundation of a career in technology.The RoleWorking as part of a national team, you will act as the first point of contact for technical support, answering support calls via email, phone, or in person.This is a technical role that will require that you identify, troubleshoot & resolve technical issues and services requests for our users as quickly and as efficiently as possible within the SLA.You will also assist with the provisioning of laptop computers, user accounts, and other equipment when on-boarding new users or refreshing devices such as monitors, phones, laptops across various systems.Key Responsibilities IncludeRespond to service requests and technical support assistance in person, via phone, or emailTake part in the on-call out of hours roster (every 4 weeks)Diagnose and resolve technical issues relating to hardware or software issuesInstall, update, and support user applicationsProvision laptops and related hardwareLog all service desk interactions and document issue resolution using our ITSM systemMaintain accurate asset inventory when assigning equipment or softwarePrior Experience And Skills Required2+ years relevant service desk experienceEducation in an ITIL or equivalent experienceRelevant vendor certifications (MCP/MCSE) desirableExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPatience and a calm, capable mannerExcellent knowledge and in-depth understanding of:MS Windows 11 Operating systemMS Office 365 suite / applicationsActive Directory Users and ComputersAzure & Office 365 AdministrationLAN & VPN conceptsTCPIP Networking essentialsDesktop SecurityDocument management conceptsAV technology (Teams, Zoom, Open UC)Working At Chapman TrippYou will enjoy a friendly, supportive and welcoming team and work environment, with lots of learning opportunitiesWorking with the latest leading-edge technologiesMobile Phone and Broadband subsidyAnnual Wellbeing allowance and free healthcareWe are a collaborative workplace of smart, passionate and hardworking people, united by a commitment to excellence.
