We have an opportunity for an experienced people leader within our personal injury rehabilitation business where we support our clients employees return back to work and life.
This role leads a team of professional case managers, who are specialists in injury and rehabilitation management, and as a subject matter expert yourself, you will not not only lead and coach a great team of people, you will also support or lead the onboarding of new clients and/or transitioning current clients into our Howden Care service model.
It is an exciting time as we continue to refine and define our future service model.

This role is based in Christchurch.
Travel will be required, from time to time as your team may be distributed in our other centres.
Key responsibilities Lead and manage a team, and foster a positive team environment through People First leadership, collaborating with other leaders to support our culture, lead through change and make this a great place to work.
Coordinate and deliver high quality service to our clients and injured people, to ensure retention of clients Champion new service solutions that create business value and growth Contribute to quarterly and annual planning cycles, thinking outside the square to ensure an effective, efficient and outstanding service is delivered and maintained Maintain technical expertise to coach and support your team of case management professionals including ensuring we meet our audits standards, and respond to complex claims and managing escalations appropriately.
Support and contribute to the development of learning and quality programmes to enable our teams to thrive in their service delivery Build and maintain client and relationships, supporting all aspects of service delivery Maintain highest standards of corporate governance, operational excellence and financial reporting About you Minimum of 5 years' experience in case management across AEP and/or Non Work personal injury claims.
Health and Wellbeing experience is desirable.
Leadership Experience - Must have 3-5 years leadership and management experience, with a focus on mentoring and coaching.
We are looking for someone experienced for this opportunity, given we are on a critical growth path.
Full understanding of case management best practice with the ability to independently coordinate, prepare, lead and present client AEP annual audits and ACC monitoring audits Sound understanding of the AC Act 2001, AEP audit standards and other law relevant to case management.
