We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated foodie and energetic person to join our wonderful team at New World Ilam as our Kitchen/Deli & Café Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a large Deli & Cafe team who are passionate about producing high quality products and providing excellent customer service. 
You could be an experienced Chef, Café or Service Deli Manager who is looking for a change or an experienced Deli Assistant with aspirations of leadership. Maybe you want your evenings back!

As an integral member of our team, you will have significant responsibility, and will need to possess the appropriate skills to lead the daily operations of this busy department in our store. 
Responsibilities will include: Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered to our valued customersManaging, leading, organising and developing the potential of our Kitchen/Café & Service Deli teamFood planning, preparation, production and presentationInventory control and managementMaintaining our high standards of Food Safety and Health & SafetyOrdering stock and liaising with suppliersEnsuring highest standards of merchandising are achievedTo be a good fit for this role you will have: Above all a passionate Foodie!Proven leadership skills to lead a passionate and driven Deli teamAbility to effectively communicate with a diverse range of peopleHigh levels of integrity and honestyA background in food production and cooking, as we make an extensive range of in-house products.Competency using computer programsFantastic organisational, presentation and planning skillsCommitment to excellent customer serviceHours This role is a fulltime permanent position of 40-45 hours. Days and hours will be discussed in the interview. It will include one weekend day.
