About the Role:
As the Service Deli/Seafood 2IC, you will assist the Deli Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and high-quality products. You'll play a key role in managing deli staff, maintaining food safety standards, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Deli Manager in day-to-day operations and staff management.
Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product selections.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
Assist in stock management, ordering, and inventory control.
Train and mentor deli staff to ensure a knowledgeable team.
Help create appealing displays and product offerings.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A passion for food and excellent customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is a plus.
Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends and holidays.
