Service Coordinator - Youth Services Location: Canterbury Type: Full time OUR PURPOSE | ARONGA Brackenridge is proud to offer mana-enhancing support across the Canterbury region.
We are a registered charity that offers accommodation and daily living support to children, young people, and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and complex support requirements in Canterbury.

ABOUT THE ROLE | TE MAHI TURANGA For this role, we will be looking for creativity and initiative in service development, and proven leadership skills.
Your interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships will be key when working with the people we support and their whanau/families, support teams, volunteers, and other professionals.
You will need highly developed administrative skills and experience communicating effectively across a diverse workforce.
You will have the ability to lead change and have a strong focus on client satisfaction.
This position would best suit someone with high initiative, enthusiasm, empathy, and resilience, who shares our passion to enable the best life that is possible for the people we support.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED | NGA PUKENGA, NGA TOHU OU Awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its relevance to the support of Maori in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
You must have a full, clean, and current New Zealand driver's licence.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
At least three years' experience in the disability field or lived experience.
Proven leadership abilities.
Highly developed administrative and communication skills.
Preference given to a Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field.
Brackenridge requires all employees to be Fully Vaccinated AND BOOSTED against Covid-19.
Commitment to engage and complete the organisational training requirements.
