As a Service Centre Supervisor, you're a 'jack of all trades' who can easily and quickly turn your hand to the varied daily tasks.* With a strength in leading people and a practical mind-set, you're adaptable.* You can roll up your sleeves to identify or fix plant issues, while connecting with your operator.* Role model adherence to HS&E policies and procedures.* Proven ability to adopt and maintain a continuous improvement philosophy.* You always keep a handle on what's happening and staying connected with the wider Ballance business.* You'll embrace change and make informed decisions so that you deliver results to our customers, your team and the wider organisation.ABOUT YOUYou'll be most suited to the role if you are a self-starter with supervisory experience in the distribution, transport and/or agricultural environments. You'll also have:* Sound computer operating skills* Basic mechanical aptitude* A pro-active mind set to environment, health and safety management* A positive "can-do attitude".* Current forklift and loader licenses are preferable, however assistance toward these licenses would be provided for the right candidate.This role also requires flexibility as there will be times where cover will be needed in other Service Centres.ABOUT USAs a New Zealand farmer-owned co-operative we love the land as much as them, so we're committed to farming more productively, profitably and sustainably.
