As a pivotal player in our Distribution team, you will have an emphasis on improving productivity, customer service, inventory management, health, safety and environmental performance, as well as general site / plant maintenance and housekeeping.
In this role, you'll have: Role model adherence to HS&E policies and procedures Proven ability to adopt and maintain a continuous improvement philosophy A valid full, Class 1 and F endorsed forklift driver's license (minimum requirement).
Loader license is desirable (W endorsement and Class 2) Ability to prioritize work appropriately and make quick, sound decisions when required.
Good communication skills with the ability to relate well to others and contribute to a positive team environment ABOUT YOU You'll be most suited to the role if you are a self-starter with supervisory experience in the distribution, transport and/or agricultural environments.
You'll also have: Sound computer operating skills Basic mechanical aptitude A pro-active mind set to environment, health and safety management A positive "can-do attitude".
You will be a confident leader, be self-motivated and have the ability to think laterally.
Current forklift and loader licenses are preferable, however assistance toward these licenses would be provided for the right candidate.
This role also requires flexibility as there will be times where cover will be needed in other Service Centres.
