About Us : Lincoln is a rural university town approximately 20 minutes from the centre of Christchurch. Our supermarket has been serving the locals for the last 15 years.

Job Description : As the Service and Administration Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service and administration departments. This includes overseeing the Checkout Manager, Administration Supervisor, Compliance team, Admin Team, Cleaning Staff, Cashiers, Online shopping and Scan Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities :

Daily Operations: Conduct detailed inspections of your departments, ensuring cleanliness and addressing any issues. Monitor food safety records and assist in maintaining high standards. Covering any management absences as required. Ensuring we are delivering service to our customers on a daily basis

Team Management: Lead the recruitment and induction of new staff. Hold weekly review meetings with department managers to discuss financials, staffing, and operational efficiencies.

Strategic Oversight: You will work closely with the store manager, fresh foods manager and owner to create the best outcomes for our customers and team members. Engage with suppliers and explore opportunities to enhance our sustainability efforts.

Working Relationships :

Reports To: Owner/Operator

Guidance From: Store Manager: Fresh Foods

Liaises With: Sales Representatives, Customers, Other Store Personnel

Requirements :

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
