We are looking for a versatile Automotive Service Advisor to join a well-established workshop based in Whangarei.
Our client is looking for NZ experience for this role, with an understanding of the NZ parts market and labour charges , as this is a newly created position within the business.
Specialising mostly in European and EV vehicles , they are well known for being a customer focussed independent workshop, with a high level of expertise, equipment and a fun working environment.
$65 000-$70 000 base salary + commissions Monday to Friday role.

The role will be varied, as no two days will be the same, and will suit an individual with a wide range of versatility and experience in the aftersales space.
The Role You will work and communicate effectively within the team to ensure accurate results with good customer experience You will be responsible for workshop and service bookings over e-mail, walk in clients and telephone, so being quick on the trigger is key Receiving booked customers on the day to capture all repair and service work in detail Upsell and explain additional repairs and requirements to clients for authorisation Professional hand over and explanation of work completed upon customer collection Processing of customer payment for invoices Ensuring all WIP is monitored closely and kept up to date Constant monitoring of daily repair orders and keeping customers informed of progress, delays and collection time Daily administrative duties to enable the smooth efficient operation of the workshop and aftersales administration To be successful in this role you will have Experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar Good all-round Automotive knowledge and interest Hold a Valid NZ work Visa or NZ Citizenship Clean NZ Drivers license Adapt quickly and be versatile in your approach Acquired skills to work confidently within a team to achieve shared goals Exceptional communication & organisational skills A confident, well-mannered customer approach If you are looking for a change outside the corporate feel of a Dealership, or a current aftersales professional within the trade looking to join an intimate family feel environment, we would like to hear from you.
