We're a vibrant, fun and relaxed boutique destination café & (soon) wine bar in the beautiful North Taranaki with the wild Wai-iti, west coast, black-sand beach on our doorstep (literally). We opened our doors 3 weeks ago, with glowing reviews throughout the community. Our approach is simple, this is not just a job, it's a lifestyle. Qualifications & Experience A passion for food, innovation and a keen desire for creativity and new ideas. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar café/restaurant with strong knowledge of all dietary needs, including but not limited to; vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and allergy-specific requirements. Tertiary education is preferred but not essential. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication & team player. Tasks & Responsibilities You will manage the kitchen and take care of the food preparation process, including maintaining appropriate stock levels and liaising with local suppliers regarding in-season produce. Bring your creativity to the space and spearhead designing menu items. Other responsibilities will be discussed further during the interview stage. Beautiful beachfront location in (arguably) Taranaki's best-kept secret.
