You'll be part of AT's Customer Experience Design and Standards team, as a Senior Wayfinding Project Manager and will have a significant role to play in enabling people to travel around Tamaki Makaurau freely and with confidence.
Great wayfinding means customers know where they are and can easily navigate where they want to go; whether on a cycleway, a shared path or at public transport facilities and surrounding areas.
The tools we deliver for customers include physical signage, digital real time screens, innovative pavement and platform designs, and lighting.
We now have an awesome opportunity for an experienced, dynamic, customer-centric superstar to join our team and really impact change as a Senior Wayfinding Project Manager.
This role will project manage the scoping, design and delivery of wayfinding customer experience projects, ensuring wayfinding requirements and resources are accounted for and customer outcomes are delivered across infrastructure projects, town centre, precinct programmes and events.
What you might like to know about this opportunity: Lead wayfinding projects and work alongside other project managers in AT and external contractors to manage the design and installation of new or updated wayfinding infrastructure and collateral across AT's network in a way which optimises the customer experience.Work collaboratively with colleagues in the CX Infrastructure Design & Standards team, Wayfinding Product Owner, Wayfinding Designers, Infrastructure Project Managers, using project management tools and methods to prioritise the backlog and updating the work in progress actions.Coordinate and manage relationships with external suppliers such as wayfinding planners, graphic designers, printers and signage installers, to ensure information is planned, scoped, produced and installed as required.Work with project teams to provide expert advice on how best to deliver wayfinding solutions at public transport facilities and across the network which best meet customers' needs, in line with transport design guidelines and CX best practice.Actively collaborate with teams across AT who are working on infrastructure projects, public transport, active modes, and technology to ensure alignment with group strategies and AT's key strategic themes and priorities to improve the customer experience.We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference for customers.
You love working as a team to collaborate and ensure we are delivering an effective, consistent, innovative wayfinding experience for customers as well as being self-driven with exceptional programme and project management expertise.
You have a growth mindset and can clearly communicate the strategic benefits and value of wayfinding to internal stakeholders and manage the detailed delivery from scoping, briefing, design and installation with designers and external suppliers.
You will have:
5+ years in senior project and/or programme delivery role positions with a track record of successful delivery and continuous improvement in a highly complex customer-centric organisation.Significant experience in project management within large infrastructure projects, including onsite collaboration with architects, engineers and contractors resulting in a deep understanding of construction constraints and opportunities.Degree qualified in a technical subject or equivalent experience in a technical role.Project and/or programme management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes, PMP, etc.Experience working in the transport sector and/or a local government organisation and be recognised as a Subject Matter Expert in Wayfinding and/or Project Management.At AT, we embrace inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace.
