As we continue our commitment to creating sustainable and resilient water infrastructure, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Engineer to join our Wellington Water Infrastructure team. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of technical projects such as wastewater treatment, stormwater management, pumping stations and water distribution systems. You will be a key contributor in designing and implementing solutions that work both for our clients and the environment. 
About the Role Investigation, planning and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.Prepare design reports, carry out design checks and provide design guidance for junior engineers.Contract management including preparation of tender and contract documentation, construction monitoring and commissioning.Ensure the technical delivery of projects conforms to relevant national and international standards, local authoring requirements and all design documentation complying with the highest standards of quality timeliness, internal checks, and review processes. Work with a range of clients from local authorities to private organisations.Work across all stages of a project leading and mentoring junior engineers.Support business development activities and PDP profile-raising activities including conference presentations and technical publications.What you'll bring Degree in Civil, Environmental or Natural Resources Engineering.Minimum 5 years' experience in three-waters engineering investigation, design, tender, and contract management.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) qualified or working towards to getting the qualification within the next 3- 6 months. Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven team leadership skills on project deliveries.Ability to develop sound engineering solutions.A collegiate, team-player attitude.What we offer A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, income protection, salary top up for parental leave and the ability to purchase extra annual leave.Flexible working culture, facilitating a healthy work-life balance.Professional development opportunities, including support for ongoing training and education, and fully subsidised membership fees. The chance to work on meaningful projects that make a difference to our environment. A vibrant environment, committed to fostering a workplace that embraces diversity and inclusion. About Us  PDP is a leading New Zealand consultancy specialising in air, land, and water.
