Senior Waste Consultant The Senior Waste Consultant delivers waste management and circular economy consulting services in support of the technical and commercial needs of the wider WSP business. This role will be the primary point of contact for our North Island clients and team, working closely with our senior waste consultant in the South Island, providing both operational and strategic advice relating to waste management systems and infrastructure. Our senior employees enjoy providing solutions to clients, keep up with market trends and provide support and mentoring to our entry talent. About you 7+ years' experience within an applicable industry sector; infrastructure/built environment, government, waste management or sustainability A strong understanding of the waste sector and circular economy principles Project experience, including multi-discipline projects Had some exposure to policy and strategy projects Ability to use theoretical knowledge of engineering principles to provide solutions Experienced in stakeholder engagement and facilitation Excellent communication and literacy skills including report writing and analytical skills Ensure that all work undertaken is in accordance with appropriate professional and technical standards and practices with a focus on health and safety practise Mentor entry level employees and assist them in their development Consulting experience preferable Why us?
