Job Description Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We are seeking an exceptional Senior Video Producer to join our Media Productions team.
Reporting to the Creative Director, you will take ownership of creative execution from concept to delivery, leading a diverse array of projects.
Whether it's directing and producing bespoke content, sizzle reels, marketing campaigns or awards packages, you'll ensure high-quality outcomes every time.
This role combines creativity, leadership, and hands-on production expertise.
You'll collaborate with a skilled team, engage with diverse clients, and contribute to a dynamic creative environment where every project is an opportunity to innovate.

This is a permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
  He korero mou | About you As a Senior Video Producer, you'll be confident and decisive, thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Your strong storytelling abilities, keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills will make you a valued team member and leader.
You'll excel at balancing creative direction with practical problem-solving, from brainstorming ideas to troubleshooting on set.
Your technical expertise in shooting, editing, and post-production will shine, and your ability to mentor and support team members will enhance our collaborative culture.
  Mo to matou ropu | About the team We are a tight-knit team of eleven highly skilled creatives producing customized video, motion graphics, and stills for the University of Auckland's faculties and operations teams, as well as external clients.
Our portfolio is diverse and exciting, including teaching and learning resources, docu-style profiles, international marketing campaigns, and award packages.

  Important Skills | Nga Pukenga Motuhake Proven expertise in producing, directing, and shooting across various content formats.
5+ years experience producing/directing/shooting in a busy commercial environment Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong storytelling, creative problem-solving, and client engagement capabilities.
Experience shooting on Sony FX6 and A74 cameras (preferred).
Familiarity with tools like Frame.io, Artlist, and Farmers Wife (preferred).
A positive attitude, willingness to adapt, and enthusiasm for learning new trends and technologies.
