Vetlife is a large veterinary practice with 28 clinics throughout the South Island, providing our customers and clients with a friendly high quality service. Vetlife Wanaka offers a full range of veterinary services to the surrounding community for both production and companion animals. The team of vets and nurses are frequently involved in a variety of surgeries, and they are looking for a motivated senior nurse to join their team who enjoys a fast pace and can operate confidently within a professional environment.The ideal candidate will have diploma level or above vet nursing qualifications and the hands-on experience and ability to deliver high quality nursing care and take on a senior role within the nursing team.About the role:Veterinary nursing duties - anaesthetics, hospital care, animal handling and clean up dutiesSome rostered Saturdays and weekend/public holidays on-call rosterPotential to support other clinics in the Central Otago Vetlife hubSkills / Experience / Attributes:Vet nurse qualification and at least 2 years experience as a senior vet nurseOrganised, energetic and methodicalConfidence to communicate effectively with our valued client baseEagerness to learn and ability to adapt to changing priorities calmly and efficientlyAbility to take a senior role in the nursing teamFriendly personality and enjoy being part of a teamVetlife prides itself on providing our customers with a friendly and high quality service.
