Senior Unity Programmers X 3 - onsite NZ, one role Mandarin speaker, must have NZ work rightsAuckland NZ – onsite only (Lead level candidates may be considered contract remote only)Established studio with 30 staff including veteran game developersSuccessful games for Mobile PC Steam, Fantasy RPG, City builder, Sim, Puzzle, Adventure*Relocation Package included if relocating from Australia to NZSenior Unity DeveloperTo be considered you must have the following experiences and qualities:At least 5 years' industry experience within the mobile sector with 2+ shipped titles.A passion for producing robust, flexible and extendable gameplay systems in tandem with designers and artists.Extensive and demonstrable Unity experience.Practical experience across multiple systems e.g. Networking, Graphics, Sound, UI, Animation, Economy etc.Excellent verbal communication skills and a drive to get the best from everyone on a team.Understanding of and an ability to communicate the balance between technical & design choices and a willingness help resolve any conflicts to provide the best player experience.Have a positive and enthusiastic work attitude and a team player who can integrate well into a fun work culture.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and backend teams to clarify development requirements and implement feature development.Work with project leaders to meet project timelines and deliverables.Propose and optimize solutions for various client-side issues.Manage the release process for iOS or Android versions of the game.Skills & Knowledge:Proficient in mobile game development using Unity and C#.Strong experience with Unity UGUI development.Familiarity with iOS/Android app development and the publishing process.Qualifications:At least 5 years of industry experience in the mobile sector, with successfully shipped titles.A passion for creating robust, flexible, and extendable gameplay systems in collaboration with designers and artists.Extensive and demonstrable experience with Unity.Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.Proficiency in English is essential for international collaboration.
