About the Role About the Role We're looking for an experienced, technical Senior Underwriter to join our liability underwriting team in Auckland and drive new and existing business growth.
This role will see responsibility for:
Developing business opportunities within the Liability marketDeveloping and maintaining broker relationshipsProvide technical Liability expertise and support, with particular strength and focus on Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers Liability.Support the head of Liability and wider Liability team with underwriting, referrals and risk assessment.Maintaining industry networksEnsure excellent service is provided to brokers and insured'sReplying to broker enquiriesNegotiating rates/ terms with brokersPreparing and communicating quotations/ bindings, policy conditions and mid-term adjustments/ endorsements for administration processingFollowing up offers of quotations/ renewalsAd hoc duties as requiredAbout You A self-starter with great communication and organisational skills and a minimum of five (5) years liability insurance experience with demonstrated knowledge of client industries and businesses as well as market knowledge of risk, good interpersonal skills and a passion for excellent customer service and building relationships. Enjoys working in a close-knit team and highly collaborative environment, has the ability to make decisions, a drive to grow business through team success and a hunger for personal development.
