Au Mahi | What You Will Do
We have an opportunity for a Senior Tutor (Digital Learning Development) to join the team in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. The role will require proficiency in digitally enabled teaching and is suited to someone who is developing their pedagogical practice.
You will also support students on their learning pathway which includes advising and assisting students, coordinating and marking assessments, and assisting with the development of course material. You will also be involved in the broader work of the School of Mathematics and Statistics, including taking on administrative roles that support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.
Mou | Who You Are
You will hold a Bachelor's Degree with Honours (NZQA Level 8) or Master's Degree (NZQA Level 9) in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline, as well as have:
Evidence of reputation within the disciplines of mathematics and/or statistics.
Experience in developing high-quality digital learning resources in the above disciplines.
Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in, delivering effective digitally enhanced teaching that enables a wide range of learners to succeed.
Experience in Moodle quiz development, including the use of STACK.
Tertiary Teaching Qualification/Award, desirable.
