Expected start date is April 2025, subject to possible change.Due to the nature of this role, a DBS check will be required and administered by NHBC.What we offer:27 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and a holiday purchase schemeGenerous pension scheme, with an employer contribution of up to 10.5%Life Assurance (x4 salary)Subsidised private medical insuranceCycle to Work schemeEmployee discounts platform, including gym discounts24/7 employee assistance programme supporting your mental wellbeing2 days volunteer leaveEqualised maternity, paternity, adoption leave and pay for all new parentsPayroll Giving, this allows you to make donations to your chosen charity through monthly pay deductionsResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doingEnsuring training is delivered in a time and cost-effective way.Co-ordination and delivery of customer apprenticeship training and/or assessment to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets.Liaising and consulting with customers, outside agencies and professional bodies to ensure apprenticeships, qualifications and training programmes meet their qualitative requirements and ensure quality assurance procedures are effectively maintained.Maintaining NHBC's accreditations, including Ofsted, ESFA, and other awarding organisations, as appropriate.Supporting the collation and reporting of appropriate KPIs and feedback mechanisms.Ensuring apprentices progress and achievements are proactively maintained to ensure compliance with Ofsted & ESFA requirements as directed by compliance processes.Consulting with customers in the identification of learning needs and adapting learning to accommodate within our SEND policy.The ideal candidate will haveProven track record of providing excellent apprenticeship delivery to successful outcomesSuitable experience in the construction industry, particularly in the new-build housing sector at relevant trade levelIt would be advantageous to have timber frame and groundworker experienceExamples of where your intervention has provided a sound basis for continual improvement of trade practiceA clear understanding of and ability to interpret and engage audiences with the implementation of the NHBC standards.Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to negotiate/communicate effectively at all levels.Ability to influence & coach others, again at all levels.Ability to meet deadlines and coach others including apprentices to meet expectationsEducation and QualificationsFull driving licence.Minimum L2 Bricklaying qualificationQualified teacher (or working towards)English & maths qualification to the apprenticeship standard minimum, or aboveWorking towards membership of appropriate professional institution.
