Senior Tutor - Applied Behaviour Analysis

Nga korero mo te turanga – About the role
As a Senior Tutor, you will provide professional supervision, mentoring and teaching to students enrolled in the PGDipPracPsych (Applied Behaviour Analysis) and contribute to the teaching and administration of the papers in this programme. Professional supervisors are not required to undertake research or complete higher degrees as part of their role, and as such are not eligible to apply for research funding. Supervision of postgraduate research students is not required.
Salary will be in the range of $94,691 to $107,931 per year pro rata based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a part time role for 22.5 hours a week (0.6 FTE), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

You will need to be passionate about teaching and believe that the student experience should be second to none. You will also have a postgraduate qualification in Psychology and proven teaching skills at a tertiary level. Good organisation, administration and interpersonal skills are also required.

Te Kura Whatu Oho Mauri, the School of Psychological and Social Sciences, has a strong focus on the classic foundations of psychology, broadly construed to encompass behaviour, cognition and indigenous psychology, both in terms of teaching and research.
