Ko te turanga mahi | About the role We are seeking a Senior Trustee to join our Invercargill Customer Centre. This is a Permanent part time role at 36 hours per week.
Our Senior Trustees form a key part of our trustee teams, partnering with our Trustees and Principal Trustees to provide exceptional service by connecting with our customers to manage their family assets, wills, estates, enduring powers of attorney and trusts to plan for their future.
In this varied role, you will support the Principal Trustee on more complex files, while coaching and mentoring our Associate Trustees on less complex work. You will work with customers face to face and behind the scenes to establish their needs and provide appropriate solutions from Public Trust's products and services.
This is a unique opportunity that requires someone with a high level of empathy, commercial acumen and exceptional interpersonal skills to work with our customers in what can often be a difficult time for them.
Ko wai koe | About you Specialist knowledge of our industry and products is not required as we provide training, however having a positive attitude, the ability to learn and problem-solve, as well as having integrity and resilience are integral to being successful in this role. We are looking for:
Experience as a trustee or legal executive or in a corporate or administrative role is preferredSeveral years' experience in a role that has involved working with diverse people experiencing challenging circumstances where you have had to think critically, solve complex problems and provide quality communicationExperience collaborating and coaching within a wider teamThe ability to self-manage, work flexibly and prioritise workSelf motivated to learn and seek out the information you needExposure to basic accounting concepts would be helpful.Nga ahuatanga kei a matou | What we offer Public Trust has a purpose built learning and professional development framework that supports individuals to become Trustee experts and progress their career.
