Across a range of assigned therapeutic groups, the team supports strategic and transactional activities. The team uses rigorous clinical, economic, and commercial market analysis to develop funding proposals and lead complex contract negotiations with pharmaceutical companies. This mahi directly impacts Pharmac's core purpose to deliver the best health outcomes from the New Zealand government's investment in medicines and medical devices.This position is a member of the Pharmaceutical Funding Leadership team and contributes to driving a positive, high-performing culture across the Pharmaceutical Funding team. As a Team Leader, you will support the development of Therapeutic Group Managers and enable them to flourish in their roles.As well as leading a team of Therapeutic Group Managers, you will be responsible for leading and managing Pharmac strategies for pharmaceutical funding, including expenditure management, within assigned therapeutic groups.
