Full Time Application Closes 16 Apr 2024 Wellington - Wellington Electrical and Electronic Inspectors and Testers About the Role: In this 12 month fixed-term role you will play a key role in the Bank's Core Banking Simplification team. The team is responsible for transitioning bank CRM, finance, and treasury systems to modern platforms in preparation for the replacement of the existing core banking mainframe platform. We are looking for someone with experience in testing highly technical, data-driven processes with many integration points. Attention to small details is important, as is a willingness to continually improve our processes and practices. The role will require working with bespoke testing tools, data files, and SQL, in order to prepare, execute and verify tests. You'll bring the following experience to the table: More than 5 years of experience as a Test Analyst in roles that are data intensive. Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing. Experience using SQL for data preparation, general querying and test validation. Comfortable liaising with 3rd parties in order to test your systems with theirs. Experience of working in an Agile team and proven experience in Devops, Continuous Delivery. Also good to have, but not required: ETL, data migration, and integration SQL Mainframe systems Fixed-width data structures Data reconciliation JSON data ISTQB certifications. What's in it for you??
