With over 400 people and five development labs spread across Australia, New Zealand, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom, Objective is a leading developer of SaaS solutions for the government.Our role:The Senior Test Analyst is responsible for identifying and defining the required tests, monitoring the test coverage, and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing the Target Test Items, maintaining the integrity of the test environment.The Senior Test Analyst reports to the Test Manager and has no people management responsibilities.A day in your role:Understanding application and business requirements to develop practical Test Plans and Test Cases.Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA policies and procedures.Ensuring the integrity of the system test environment, initiating IT and DBA staff to perform system and database backups, restores, and initiation of restore points as required before, during, and after application test cycles.Producing traceability matrices of software requirements to test plan/designs to ensure testing scenarios provide adequate coverage resulting in quality solutions.Creating data necessary for the testing of applications and enhancements.Reviewing and maintaining accurate Test Results and Test Execution Logs.Managing defects exceptionally using defect management tools like JIRA.Producing Test Execution Summary and overall test report at the conclusion of the application system test cycle.Non-functional testing including regression, performance, robustness, integration, operational readiness.Participating in customer and internal workshops and/or status meetings.Assisting customers during UAT and the tier 3 support team as required.Managing and reporting testing progress against agreed schedules.Your skills, experience and beyond:Experience in estimating, planning, executing, and reporting on software testing activities.Strong knowledge of SQL.Strong knowledge of testing tools, specifically Tosca.Cloud experience is a good to have with AWS preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate within the team and with customers.Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure to support demanding deadlines.Tertiary level qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.At Objective, we recognise and celebrate our diverse team as pivotal to our strong employee engagement and our high-performing culture, underpinned by Our Values.We are an equal opportunity employer.
