The Role
The Senior Test Analyst is responsible for leading and carrying out all activities associated with planning, preparation, execution, and reporting for testing of new software, as well as enhancements to existing software. Being a seasoned Senior Test Engineer with an emphasis on integration, you have a passion for ensuring complex systems work seamlessly together.

Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing of integrated systems, ensuring all components function as expected.Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business analysts and developers, to gather and clarify requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of testing needs.Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases to validate the functionality of various systems.Contribute to the development and implementation of automation testing strategies, identifying areas where automation can enhance the testing process.Report test results and progress to project managers and product owners, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers, helping to foster a strong testing culture within the team.Proven Experience needed:
5+ years of experience in testing complex integrated systems, preferably within the financial or banking industry. Our client has complex data flows and as such a competence to comprehend complex integrations is seen as essential.
Proven experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.Familiarity with test management and software project tracking tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.Strong skills in querying and testing data stored in relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle.Experience in test reporting and providing actionable insights to stakeholders.Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, teasing out requirements and ensuring clarity in the testing process.Knowledge of various test automation tools and approaches, with a willingness to explore and implement automation where beneficial.Experience in test leadership or coaching is a plus.A Little About You
